TMS Auckland is centrally located at 1 Maidstone Street, Grey Lynn. We are a 10 minute walk from the new Karangahape Station and near multiple bus stops and the motorway.
If you’re travelling from outside Auckland, there are ways to make treatment easier. Some patients stay with friends or family during the week and return home on weekends when possible. We’ll work with you to find a treatment schedule that fits your circumstances and make the process as manageable and convenient as possible.

Nick is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Auckland School of Medicine and a Consultant Psychiatrist in Community Mental Health and private practice. He was the lead researcher of the first New Zealand study investigating TMS for depression and has a longstanding academic and clinical interest in TMS and its use in treating difficult-to-treat depression. He has been affiliated with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists since 2003. He trained in the United States and completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, USA.

Dorothy is a member of the Clinical TMS Society and is trained and credentialed in TMS by the Black Dog Institute in Sydney, Australia. She holds a degree in Psychology. Her professional experience includes working in psychiatric emergency services within the University of Pennsylvania Health System in Philadelphia, USA. She has worked extensively with adults experiencing mood, psychotic, and substance use disorders across both inpatient and outpatient settings. This experience has given her a broad understanding of mental health care, from acute psychiatric presentations through to ongoing treatment and support.
Rob has extensive experience in the assessment and comprehensive management of severe and complex mental illnesses, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. He is committed to delivering evidence-based, compassionate care tailored to the needs of each individual.
Since 2019, following a period of careful research and specialised training, Rob has incorporated Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) into his clinical practice. Rob remains at the forefront of developments in psychiatric care, combining clinical expertise with a patient-centred approach.
